Jennita Cecilia Elaine DeShields, daughter of Jennifer DeShields and the late Calvin DeShields, graduated on May 15 from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction, majoring in Accounting.

Jennita is a former student of Warwick Academy and obtained her Associate in Business Administration from Bermuda College in May 2006. At her Bermuda college graduation, Jennita was given the Most Outstanding Business Graduate Award.

The graduation was attended by her mother Jennifer Deshields, grandparents Gordon and Elaine Wainwright, cousin Gina DeShields and special friends Joanne and Kevonne Rogers. Jennita is currently pursuing a CA designation and working at Ernst & Young Ltd.

Jennita would like to thank her family, friends and co-workers for their continued support over the past four years. Also the financial support of the Association of Bermuda International Companies, Platinum Underwriters Bermuda Ltd, Bermuda Government Further Education Award Scheme, Aunt Albertha Waite and Godmother, Judith Hall-Bean was greatly appreciated.
