New nightspot in Hamilton set to open
A new Hamilton nightspot is to open next week, driven by party promoter Barmuvinjam. Club Azioné opens its doors Friday, March 6, at 91 Reid Street, near the top of Spurling Hill.
It aims to cater to patrons between the ages of 25 and 40 and will initially feature songs from the 80s and 90s, as well as current hits.
The club was named in honour of Barmuvinjam stalwart Andrew Jackson, who died following a road traffic accident last Christmas.
"Azioné, which means 'action' in Italian, was a word Andrew (Action) Jackson used to define himself," said Barmuvinjam press secretary Vejay Steede.
"Barmuvinjam members will receive incentives such as free admission on some nights; therefore members are asked to obtain their membership cards as soon as possible."
Persons over the age of 25 can apply for free membership on www.barmuvinjam.com.
