Rhys Simon Pearce graduated on May 16 from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business (Honours).
Mr. Pearce, of Paget, was named on the President's list for academic achievement.
He received a prize for coming second in the annual investment competition, with a return of 163 percent in just five months.
Mr. Pearce attended Saltus Grammar School, Eaglebrook in Massachusets and graduated from high school in 2005 from Pomfret, Connecticut.
He is the son of Stephen and Maryann Pearce.
Fiona Elizabeth Herring, daughter of Kip and Sheila Herring of Harbour Road, Warwick, has received her Doctorate from the University of Oxford in the field of Management Studies. She studied at Oxford's Said Business School and is a member of Brasenose College.
Dr. Herring attended Port Royal Primary School and Saltus Grammar School. After majoring in Computer Science at Dartmouth College and completing an MSc in Information Systems at the London School of Economics, she became the 2003 Bermuda Rhodes Scholar and continued her studies at Oxford and received her doctorate on On June 13.
Dr. Herring now works for Google as an associate project manager in the Zurich, Switzerland office.
In the last year, she has been responsible for iGoogle's development in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and has worked with a team of engineers to influence the global product.
Annabel Tuck, daughter of Lt. Col. and Mrs. Nicholas Tuck of London, England and Guy Cooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. David G. Cooper of Southampton, Bermuda are to be married at the Church of Our Most Holy Redeemer at St. Thomas More in Chelsea, London, England on Saturday August 29, 2009.
Annabel and Guy both attended the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and met in Abu Dhabi in 2007, where Annabel was working in public relations with the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange and Guy was working as a lawyer.
