The Bermuda Botanical Society Annual General Meeting, 6.30 p.m. at the Visitors' Centre, Botanical Gardens. Following the AGM, the Curator of the Botanical Gardens, Neville Richardson, will give a presentation on the exciting new plans for the Gardens. Light refreshments will be served.

Seniors Learning Centre at the Bermuda College members and interested persons over 55-years-old are invited to a general meeting in the college cafeteria from 2.30 p.m.

Bermuda National Gallery Partner Re Lecture series with 2008 Biennial Juror Franklin Sirmans, Curator of Contemporary Art, Menhil Collection, Houston, Texas. Mr. Sirmans will deliver a lecture on contemporary art, focusing on Kevin Morris' work. $10 for members and $20 for non-members.

Saltus Grammar School's Ruth Henderson Memorial Concert in Victoria Park from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Rain date is May 29.

Bermuda National Gallery Whistle Stop Tour. Take a fun ride and discover the exciting world of the ocean, plants, Bermuda history, art and books. Trek through beautiful plant life, dive in a shark cage and find the true meaning of art. The tour kicks off at the BNG. Space is limited. So call 295-0487 to register today. Bermuda Folk Club night day at Spanish Point Boat Club Overseas Act – Kevin Dolan returns to Bermuda with fellow musicians Davey Armstrong and Simon Crawford for an Oldie Goldie NIght.In the mid 80's Kevin played at local pubs with Barry Fitzgerald, and later Davey Armstrong. Expect great guitar playing, classic cover songs and lots of Irish folk music. Come on out for a great night under the stars. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets on the door $12.

Bermuda Maritime Museum, Dockyard: (1) Commissioner's House: The Exploring Voyage of HMS Challenger in Bermuda 1873. A selection of original and reproduction photographs depicting Bermuda, which were used as evidence in the scientific reports of the Challenger voyage, 1872-76. (2) From the Fay and Geoffrey Elliott Collection: 'U-505 Captured', an exhibit telling the remarkable story of the capture off western Africa and the hiding in Bermuda of the submarine U-505. (3) Steinhoff Magazine, High Cave: 'Prisoners in Paradise': Artefacts in Bermuda cedar/stone/other materials created by Dockyard convict establishment, and prisoners of the Boer and World Wars. Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute Titanic exhibit until November 30. A unique collection of Titanic artefacts, photographs and memorabilia, throughout the exhibits. This exhibit will not be seen anywhere else in the world as these collections have been compiled by BUEI from various sources to give visitors a wide overview of how the greatest marine tragedy captivated the public. The collections vary from artefacts used on the film 'Titanic', scientific research done by renowned scientists and photographs of the ship by National Geographic photographer, Emory Kristof.
