Andrew Stevenson's film 'Where the Whales Sing' will be shown at the Bermuda College in the amphitheatre, Room G301 at 6.30 p.m. Tickets are $10. Students free. Tickets are available at www.bdatix.com or at the door. Following the film there will be an open panel discussion with Andrew Stevenson, Producer/Director of the film as well as Dr. Ian Walker, Curator of the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo and Dr. Sajni Toleram from the Bermuda College.

Bermuda National Gallery Sharon Wilson, an acclaimed Bermudian artist with her own school of art, to speak on 'A Bermudian Artist with a Social Agenda: Art which speaks to solutions for Bermuda's people and her social challenges'. 5.30 p.m. Reception. 6 p.m. lecture. $10 members; $20 non-members.

Bermuda Hospitals Board invites the public to an Asthma Day Open House on from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. in the hospital lobby. Asthma and allergy education and free spacer devices will be provided to anyone suffering with asthma or other breathing difficulties. Adult lung screening will also be offered to smokers and ex-smokers over the age of 40.

The Multiple Sclerosis Society's 13th Annual Tag Day will take place at locations all around the Island.

A City Wide, Gallery Hopping, Happy Hour Venues throughout the City of Hamilton will be Exhibiting Art. From Greg's Steakhouse to Harry's with many treasures, including Common Ground and the Bermuda Society of Arts in between. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

St. George's Historical Society Flea Market and Plant Sale on Ordnance Island, St. George's from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bermuda Society of Arts Craft Fair in front of City Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nadanja's Mother's Day Comedy Soul Jam featuring Glenn Richards' Temptations Experience, G.C. Cameron, formerly of The Temptations and former lead singer of The Spinners. The Image Entertainment event will also feature Spike Davis and Cory Fernandez of Comic View and P Diddy'y Bad Boys of Comedy. In addition local sensations Sia Spence and Shine Hayward will also take part. Fairmont Southampton Amphitheatre. Bermuda Botanical Society Garden Walk through 'Orange Valley' in Devonshire at 3 p.m. Park across the road in the lay-by or on the lawn at the entrance gate. The Departure is the 400th Anniversary of the Deliverance and Patience for Jamestown, Virginia. The event takes place on Ordnance Island, St. George's from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Bermuda National Gallery lecture at 5.30 p.m. Reception; 6 p.m. Lecture with Diane C. Wright, Senior Fellow, American Decorative Arts, Yale University Art Gallery. 'The Art of Stained Glass: from Medieval to Modern'. Tickets: $10 members; $20 non-members.

May 15 to 16

A Bermuda Heritage Concert 2010 with St. John's Youth Choir and conducted by Marjorie Pettit. Featured soloists are trumpeter Matthew Ross, soprano Jordan Robbins, and violinist Christine Allison. The events take place at St. John's Church, Pembroke at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students. Cheques made payable to St. John's Church. A few sponsors tickets are available. Tickets can be purchased after Sunday services, at Choir Rehearsals in St. John's Church on Friday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Piano's Plus on Front Street, Bermuda Bookstore on Queen Street, or at the door.

Rainbow Tea and Hat Show Marsden Methodist First United Methodist Church, 151 South Shore Road, Smith's. 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. All hats in for judging by 3.30 p.m. Hats to be made of Bermuda grown greenery and flowers.
