A tribute to Michael Jackson and his music will be held tomorrow night.

The tribute is meant to coincide with the King of Pop's death a year ago, and will be held at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.

Organiser David Lee Tucker is hoping the event will unite the community, as many of the late superstar's songs were about love and togetherness.

"He had a vision in his craft," Mr. Tucker said.

"Visually you are going to see his craft and you are going to see the type of art that he was into and his vision with the world.

"I will also intergrate this with information."

Dancers, impersonators and tribute songs are scheduled for the night's entertainment. A video tribute will follow the live show. Mr. Tucker, who met the star at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess many years ago, will serve as narrator.

Doors open at 8 p.m. Showtime is 9 p.m. All proceeds from the event will go towards a charity yet to be decided.
