Kyme compiled a 15-0 record in league play as a junior for Taft and won the New England Interscholastic championship. He will represent Bermuda in the World Junior Championships this summer.
Hammond, a senior at Deerfield Academy, was the New England champion in the 200-metre freestyle and won a silver medal in the 100m free. A member of the Harbour Swim Club, he also won the Outstanding Swimmer and Sportsman award.
The Globe ran biographies and photographs of the boys' and girls' MVPs in five sports, including ice hockey, basketball and skiing.
