A man was robbed at gunpoint as he walked along the Railway Trail, police said today.Police were called out yesterday at about 7.40am to the Railway Trail, in Sandys.A Police spokesman said: “The complainant states that he was on the Railway Trail in Sandys in the area of the Somerset Seventh-day Adventist church when he was approached by two males on a cycle. The suspects produced what is believed to be a firearm and made demands of money. The subjects then took an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim and made good their escape.”Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact Western CIU on 2341010.
