Police have arrested two men and recovered a gun after an attempted robbery last night.A Police spokesman said: “Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary at Belvin's Grocery store, in Devonshire. It appears that an unknown male entered the store and brandished what is believed to be a firearm and demanded cash.“However the suspect made good his escape empty handed and no one was injured. Subsequently, two men were arrested and are now in police custody in connection with this matter and a firearm was also recovered.“An active police investigation into this incident is underway. Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything or anyone acting suspicious to contact Police at 295-0011 or the crime stoppers hotline at 800-8477.”
