Moore forced to make changes to Bermuda team

David Moore would probably rather not change a winning team, but that's exactly what he's going to do for today's second game against the senior UAE national team in Duabi.Having watched his side complete a comprehensive eight wicket win over UAE, Bermuda's third win on the trott, the Australian said he would be forced to rest some players so that everyone got a chance to play. That means the likes of Stefan Kelly, who ripped the heart out of UAE's top order yesterday, and Dion Stovell, who's 34 was easily his best innings of the tour could drop out. With Jim West, Chris Foggo, Jordan Desilva and Kamau Leverock all expected to be given more playing time, it means Bermuda will probably face UAE with a very different team to the one that won so comfortably in their first real test of the tour.“We're going to make changes, we want to see other guys play,” said Moore. “In this situation, where we are forced to make changes to accommodate everyone, the players that come in have got to come out and play exactly the same way.“Guys will be getting rests, and we've got to make sure the next group of players gets in there and shows the same level of commitment and consistency.”For Moore it will be a chance to see how his players react to the changes, and give him a chance to figure out who has the discipline, the mental toughness, and ultimately the ability to come into a winning team that will have to fight UAE every step of the way again today.“We are looking better, but again, we have to come out and play well tomorrow, with a new line-up, but we've got to show those same qualities,” said Moore. “It's all about setting our standard and I think the guys are appreciating the opportunity to be here and they are taking it with both hands.”
