Wells makes debut in Carlisle win

Bermuda’s Nahki Wells made his professional debut in Carlisle United’s 4-0 thrashing of Bristol Rovers at Brunton Park today.The 19-year-old, who signed a five-month contract at United on New Year’s Day, came on as a substitute after 84 minutes, replacing Ben Marshall.United’s goalscorers were James Berrett with two penalties, Craig Curran and Liam Cooper.The win lifts United to 14th in the English League One table.See full story in Monday’s Royal Gazette
