Flights from the US East Coast to Bermuda were cancelled yesterday due to heavy snow in that area.The winter storm forced the cancellation of JetBlue flight 1731, which was expected to arrive from New York’s JFK at 2.30pm.Continental’s flight 1657 from Newark, which would have landed at 4pm, was also called off.An operations spokeswoman at LF Wade International Airport said flights should resume as scheduled today.“Right now, JFK’s runways seem to be clear, and we’re not expecting any more Bermuda flights to be affected,” she said.
