The BF&M Insurance Group has donated $40,000 to the TB, Cancer and Health Association in support of its capital campaign to build new headquarters on Point Finger Road.

BF&M president and CEO Glenn Titterton said his staff and company were ongoing supporters of the association.

"In October we sponsor the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, including the highly successful fun walk which usually attracts about 700-800 walkers annually, who raise money through pledges for the association."

He said early detection of cancer was vital.

The $40,000 has been designated for the Bone Density unit.
