Breaking News: Four charged with defrauding Government

Former Government architect, Kyril Burrows and his wife Delcina Burrows leave plea court this today

Four people, including three former Government employees, were charged this morning with conspiring to defraud the Government of more than $150,000.

Kyril Burrows, 47, his wife Delcina Burrows, 47, along with Greatfield Carmichael, 60, and Calvin Waldron, 42, appeared in Magistrates’ Court where they were charged with a total of 19 charges of deception and corruption. Mr. Burrows, Carmichael and Waldron are former Government employees.

None of the defendants were required to plea as the matter will be heard in the Supreme Court.

Senior Magistate Archibald Warner released all four on $10,000 bail with a surety of the same amount.
