Fuel prices have gone up with the cost of gasoline rising by 5.6 cents a litre to $1.64 a litre, the Ministry of Finance announced this week. The new price took effect at the pumps yesterday. There were also smaller increases for diesel, which went up 1.9 cents to $1.394 a litre and kerosene which rose 3.4 cents to $1.161 cents a litre. The prices are the maximum that can be charged at petrol pumps.
