Government sued over Ports position

Acting director of Marine and Ports Michael Dolding is suing Government. Mr. Dolding filed a writ with the Supreme Court on Tuesday against the Public Service Commission.

The Royal Gazette understands that the move comes after Mr. Dolding lost out in his bid to become the Director of Marine Ports on the retirement earlier this month of Ron Ross.

Before assuming his current title of Acting Director, Mr. Dolding was the Assistant Director of the department. He has worked in the department for 23 years, and served as Assistant Director for the past five years.
