National Trust appoints new President
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 26: Former Regiment commanding officer Lt. Col. William White has been appointed as the new President of the Bermuda National Trust.
Commissioned into the Bermuda Regiment in 1994, Lt. Col. White completed his Officer Training at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst and has held full-time positions of Aide de Camp, and Adjutant and Training Officer in the Regiment. He retired as Commanding Officer in 2009, after 24 years' service.
National Trust Executive Director Jennifer Gray said: Lt. Col. White has been supporting the Trust in a number of areas over recent months and we are thrilled with his energetic and professional style. Outgoing President, Bill Holmes has left big shoes to fill but we have no doubt that Lt. Col. White will meet the challenge and prove outstanding as a leader of our organisation."
