WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 20: A teenager who received probation for two ‘brutal’ robberies was this morning jailed for breaching his probation.
Jahreko Hill, 18, pleaded guilty in 2008 to five offences, including two charges of robbery.
In both of the robberies, he and a group of other young men dragged the victims to the ground and beat them, taking cash and personal items.
He was sentenced to three-years probation under several conditions, including that he must not commit further offences, but on September 24 Hill pleaded guilty to drug charges.
This morning Senior Magistrate sentenced Hill to six months in prison for each of the five offences on which he was being held on parole.
