TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2: A TV show filmed in Bermuda by Ashley Colburn, host of WealthTV’s ‘Takeoff with Ashley Colburn’, is to air on Saturday.

During their visit last May, Ms Colburn and her cast stayed at Tucker’s Point Hotel and Spa, which is prominently featured in the show. Tucker’s Point provided accommodation as well as a variety of activities for the group, including teaching her to scuba dive and bringing her into the resort’s The Point restaurant to cook with award-winning executive chef Serge Bottelli.

They also attended the Bermuda Day parade on May 24; took off on a half-day fishing expedition with Captain Mike Jones; swam with the dolphins; saw the Crystal Caves; visited the Bermuda Maritime Museum and embarked on a sailing trip with Captain Anthony Mello.

WealthTV describes the upcoming show on its website: “It’s time to pack your flip-flops, suits and Bermuda shorts! Get ready to sail the sea, dive into adventure and unveil the history that lies beneath this island getaway. Takeoff to Bermuda with Ashley Colburn to discover paradise.”

She has done programmes from around the world, including Croatia, where this video was shot.

Bermuda CableVision arranged the visit to Bermuda by WealthTV and, together with the Bermuda Department of Tourism, sponsored the May 23 to 28 visit.

The episode will be screened as a ‘Special Premiere’ on Saturday at 7pm on WealthTV. Following its premiere, the show will air at its regularly-scheduled time of Friday, November 12, at 10:30pm.
