A woman who fled the scene miraculously unhurt after flipping her car upside down on Wilkinson Avenue in Hamilton Parish has been arrested for drunk driving by Police.

In the early hours of Saturday morning Police discovered a black Renault Clio lying on its roof at the junction of Wilkinson Avenue and Fractious Street ? with the owner nowhere in sight.

Police believe the car was travelling north along Wilkinson Avenue when the driver lost control and collided with several roadside fence poles.

A few hours later a 36-year old Hamilton Parish woman was arrested at her home after failing a breathalyser test.
