A stricken motor yacht arrived back Bermuda yesterday after running into mechanical difficulties on its way to the Azores.
Big Roi left Bermuda on January 7, on its way to Horta, Azores when it experienced difficulty 397 miles east northeast of the Island in 12- to 15-foot seas and 35-knot winds.
Nine people were aboard the 208-foot yacht, which first arrived in Bermuda on December 23 from the British Virgin Islands.
The yacht is registered in Georgetown, Cayman Islands and is now docked in Penno's Wharf.
