A 26 year-old Pembroke man in in intensive care after being stabbed on Thursday.The incident is believed to have taken place at about 11 a.m. on Court Street. The victim sustained stab wounds to his neck and back and is currently in satisfactory condition in ICU at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The incident is believed to have taken place at about 11 a.m. on Court Street. The victim sustained stab wounds to his neck and back and is currently in satisfactory condition in ICU at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

yesterday a Police spokesman said that details surrounding the incident were still unclear as they had been unable to speak to the man.

Police are asking for any witnesses or people with relevant information to contact them at 295-0011.

There will be a new place to catch the bus in town from tomorrow.

Construction work is set to begin tomorrow at the Washington Street bus terminal. As a result buses will use the temporary terminal set up on the Western side of City Hall near the City Hall car park.

Operations will cease at the Washington Street terminal at midnight tonight and regular vehicular access will be limited.
