Breaking News: Commonwealth Games team ratified

The Bermuda Olympic Association has confirmed the 14 athletes who will represent Bermuda at the Commonwealth Games next month.

Led by chef-de-mission Stanley Douglas, Bermuda’s squad will participate in athletics, swimming, shooting, squash and tennis.

Olympians Keira Aitken and Roy-Allan Burch will be the most senior members of the group, and will be joined by fellow swimmer Nick Thomson, athletes Tre Houston and Tyrone Smith, a four-strong tennins contingent of Gavin Manders, David Thomas, Tara Lambert and Jacklyn Lambert, while Nick Kyme will compete in squash.

In the shooting, CAC Games bronze medalist Ross Roberts will be joined by Sinclair Raynor, Carl Reid and Nelson Simons.

The Commonwealth Games will take place from the 3 to 14 of October.
