Government teachers who did not receive their full pay last month can now collect their owed wages.

The Ministry of Education said this afternoon that paycheques can now be collected from Covenant House at 64 King Street.

The Royal Gazette reported earlier this week that 15 teachers were not paid at all, and another 90 were not paid for their scale post positions.

Cheques will be waiting in the Human Resources section in the department’s King Street building.

Said a spokesperson: “The Department apologises for the delay and is working to ensure this oversight does not occur in future.”
