Three men were each sentenced to three years in jail this afternoon for a home invasion and assault.

Kenry Trevor Thorpe, 22, Manai Iman Roberts, 20, and Dimitri Aaron Tucker, 23, admitted to wounding Codie Dowling with intent during an attempt to steal his car.

Supreme Court heard this afternoon how they put a pillowcase over 28-year-old Mr. Dowling’s head and left him with an injury to his chin during the struggle at his Southampton home.

According to Mr. Dowling, the trio are members of the Parkside gang. Prosecutor Robert Welling explained that Thorpe is the victim’s first cousin.
