Breaking News: Police investigate gas station armed robbery
Police are investigating a suspected armed robbery when two men - one thought to be brandishing a gun - robbed a gas station.
The incident happened at 8.55 p.m. yesterday at the Boaz Island Shell gas station in Sandys.
A Police spokesman said: “Details about what occurred are unclear at this time, however it appears that two unknown men entered the gas station, one brandishing what appeared to be a firearm and the other brandishing a bladed article. They stole a quantity of cash before making good their escape. There were no reported injuries.”
The suspects are described as brown skinned, 5ft 7in and of slim build; one suspect was wearing a tan coloured long sleeve shirt and red pants, the other man was wearing all black clothing, including a black long sleeve T-shirt. Both suspects are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s.
