A man who died in a road accident at the weekend was this afternoon named as 41-year-old Andre Hendrickson, of Southampton.

Mr. Hendrickson was killed when he was struck by a car on North Shore Road, in Devonshire, near the Mid Atlantic Boat Club around 1.15 a.m. on Saturday.

A Police spokesman said: “The Bermuda Police Service extends sincere condolences to Mr. Hendrickson's family and friends.

“An investigation into this matter is ongoing. Police continue to appeal for any witnesses to this incident, particularly anyone who may have known of Mr. Hendrickson's whereabouts between midnight and 1.15 a.m. on Saturday. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact PC Shem Obeius on 295-0011.”
