BUEI film puts rising sea levels into focus
A Bermuda-made film entitled “Oceans in Motion” aired on ZBM Tuesday night as part of a scientific film series.
The film focused on Bermuda's drowned cedar forests and a sea level rise study.
The film series was produced by the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute and The New England Aquarium. The latest findings in the ‘Sea Level Rise Study' will be discussed June 28 at BUEI when the Explorer lecture series continues with BUEI international advisor Steve Blasco.
Mr. Blasco has been on the Island for the last several weeks working with local diver Teddy Tucker on the study with new information on the makeup of the Island and Bermuda's drowned cedar forest.
This lecture is for one-night only at the Tradewinds Auditorium at BUEI.Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
