Calls flood in to wall hotline

A Government hotline set up to take calls about suspected unsafe walls has sparked more than thirty responses said Works and Engineering Minister Alex Scott.
The hotline, which closed last Wednesday, was set up after a retaining wall collapsed and killed teachers' aide Andrea Bicarie at Bermuda College in January.
Mr. Scott said: "It's now for Works and Engineering to go through these complaints."
However Mr. Scott said passing on information to Government did not mean it assumed responsibility or liability.
