Finance Minister Eugene Cox has been taken back into hospital for the second time in a month.

A spokeswoman for King Edward VII Memorial Hospital said last night that Mr. Cox was in a stable condition on a general ward.

Mr. Cox spent six nights in hospital last month and missed the Budget debate as a result. The nature of his illness has not been made public.
