Crawl man denies cannabis importation charge

A Hamilton Parish man accused of importing $46,550-worth of cannabis resin with intent to supply has been bailed for $10,000 to re-appear in court for trial in November.
John Paul Samuels, 44, of Red Kiln Road, Crawl Hill, pleaded not guilty to one count of importing the cannabis resin and one count of having the drugs with intent to supply, when he appeared in Magistrates? Court.
He was given bail with one surety and ordered to stand trial on November 29.
