Fishing boat in distress call

Marine Police escorted a fishing boat to Dockyard after it reported letting in water off Challenger Banks at 2.15 p.m. on Saturday.
The boat was located nine and half miles south west of Gibbs Hill Lighthouse when its bilge pump began malfunctioning. The 35-foot had two people on board when it made the distress call. Marine police boat and another boat attended and toed to Dockyard where it was taken out of the water.
A 17-foot craft broke down half a mile west of Wreck Hill late on Saturday night and was toed to Robinson?s Marina by local vessel after Harbour Radio broadcast an appeal.
