A burglar who broke into a Paget house walked away with a flat screen television.

Police said the culprit targeted a home on Seabright Avenue in broad daylight on Friday, between 10.15 and 11.30 a.m.

Also stolen in the raid, which happened while the resident was out, were a Hewlett Packard laptop computer and items of jewellery.

Police said a suspect seen in the area was a black male of medium height who was wearing a dark T-shirt, sunglasses, khaki shorts and a dark baseball cap.

Elsewhere, three watches were swiped when a house on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish, was broken into overnight on Thursday.
