As Florence chugged harmlessly away to our north weather forecasters were warning about Tropical Storm Gordon and another unnamed system to our south.
Gordon is labelled a potential threat as it is will be within 400 miles of Bermuda within the next 72 hours.
Bermuda Weather Service meteorologist Kimberley Zuill said: "Keep an eye on it.
"It's in our general area although it's forecast to go well to our east if it keeps its track. We will get some swells out of it."
Forecasters are also keeping a watching brief on Tropical Depression Eight, which although more than 2,000 miles away is also heading Bermuda's way.
