Half of all households in Bermuda owned a personal computer. And four out of five of them are connected to the Internet, according to the census.
Questions on computer ownership were included for the first time in the latest count, but the figure has tripled compared to a survey done in 1993.
The survey counted 24,763 units with two bedrooms the largest category (8,964) followed by three bedrooms (6,866), one bedrooms (6,385) and four bedroom units (1,319). There are 1,188 studios on the Island.
Most of the housing stock (62 percent) is more than 30 years old.
