Elated at new reasonable airfares to Bermuda offered from the US East Coast, local hoteliers gave their annual corporate award to Angus Kinnear of USA3000.

Mr. Kinnear is president and CEO of the airline which offers one way fares from Baltimore, Maryland for as low as $79. USA3000 began serving Bermuda last May and in September added flights from Newark, New Jersey for the same low $79 rate.

The airline now plans to add a direct flight to Philadelphia at the end of August.

Premier Alex Scott presented Mr. Kinnear with the award from the Bermuda Hotel Association (BHA) at its recent awards banquet.

John Harvey, CEO of the BHA, said the organisation was committed to working with the airline ?in any and all initiatives that will ensure their success and financial viability, as they convey our guests to and from our Bermuda shores?.
