Bermuda has a new representative in the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) following the recent British General Election.
After the election a Cabinet reshuffle saw the former Junior Minister with responsibility for British Overseas Territories Bill Rammell moved to become Minister of Higher Education.
Last week the FCO announced that Parliamentary Under Secretary of State Lord David Triesman will take over responsibility in the FCO for the Caribbean and Overseas Territories.
Lord Triesman, formerly general secretary for the Labour Party, will also hold responsibility for all FCO business in the Lords, Latin America, Africa, the Commonwealth, UK Visas, Migration Policy, Consular Policy, British Council and the BBC World Service.
