Man stabbed in back of head
A man who went to assist a friend involved in an altercation with two men in Hamilton shortly after midnight on Saturday ended up being stabbed twice in the back of the head by one of the men.
The victim, a 20-year-old Southampton man, was treated at the scene by paramedics and was taken to hospital and treated for two cuts to his head before being released.
According to the account the man gave Police he had been in the vicinity of Fagan?s Alley on Front Street at 12.10 a.m. when he saw his friend involved in an altercation with the two unknown men and went to assist at which point a scuffle broke out. ?During the struggle the second assailant approached the victim from behind and stabbed him twice in the head with a bladed article. Both suspects then made good their escape on foot towards King Street,? said Bermuda Police Service in a statement. The suspects are described as two black men aged around 25. One was light-skinned and 5ft 10in of slim build with a close hair cut and wearing a black ?bubble? jacket. The other suspect was dark-skinned of medium build with shoulder-length braided hair wearing a black cap and black jacket.
