Police continue to search for a Pembroke man who did not return to the Prison Farm while on day release last week.

Stressing that Shannon Leroy Tuzo, 36, is not considered to be a danger to the public, Police spokesperson Dwayne Caines said last night that the search continues.

Tuzo was sentenced to prison for failure to pay traffic fines.

But since leaving the prison farm for work release on the morning of February 22, he has not been seen.

The Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs advised the public this week that it is an offence to harbour an escaped inmate.

And the public is asked to contact Police immediately with any information as to Tuzo's whereabouts.
