Works and Engineering Minister Alex Scott has thanked well wishers for their support after undergoing surgery last month.

Government's Department of Communication and Information said last night that the Minister was now resting comfortably at home, and said he was expecting to be back at the Ministry in the next week or so.

Mr. Scott underwent what he has described as a “fairly straightforward” medical procedure at the end of May.

He said yesterday: “My doctor said that I am well on the way to recovery, and I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have expressed their well wishes and concern. I am very appreciative.”
