Police are investigating two ride-away robbers who are reported to have threatened a cyclist in the early hours of Saturday, before taking money from him.

The complainant said he was riding his motorcycle at the junction of Parson's Lane and Palmetto Road in Pembroke at about 3 a.m. when he became involved in a row with two unknown men on another cycle.

He said during the confrontation, the rider of the other bike became agitated, and eventually demanded money.

Police said the rider is said to have removed a quantity of cash from the victim's waistpouch, before making off with his accomplice on the bike. Anyone with information should call Police on 295-0011.
