This year?s Bermuda Day holiday was relatively quiet for Police officers.

From Monday night till six a.m. yesterday, two people were arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired and six incidents of breaking and entering.

There were also 15 damage-only accidents and 18 collisions resulting in injury.

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their co-operation over the holiday. They are still urging people to use caution and care on the Island?s road because of the rise of collisions over the holiday.

There has been a decrease in breaking and entering incidents, Police report. They would still like to encourage the public to secure their homes as tightly by locking all windows and doors.

The Police service has also received reports of loud music. They would like to remind the public to be considerate of their neighbours when playing music especially in the night.
