Police are appealing to the public for information on a missing 12-year-old girl.

Charhan Burns has not been seen since she left the Sunshine League Children?s home on King Street, Pembroke, on Tuesday.

She is described as a black female, with medium brown skin, 5ft 4ins tall of medium build with dark brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Juvenile Domestic Crime Unit on 299-4307.

Charhan?s mother has pleaded for her to come back.

Dawn Brown said she was only informed her daughter was missing on Wednesday when her teacher at Vision Academy called her.

She appealed for her daughter to get in touch and for anyone with information to contact the Police.

?I just hope that she is safe and if anyone knows where she is that they will not cover for her,? said Mrs. Brown.
