Police warn against egg throwing

Eggs and rock throwing are posing safety hazards to motorists and pedestrians, Police said yesterday.

Police are reporting an increase in the number of projectiles, particularly in the Parsons Road area, which are being thrown at buses and other vehicles.

A Police spokesman warned the public that throwing these kind of objects is a criminal offence and anyone caught doing this will be arrested and put before the courts.

Anyone with information about this activity is asked to contact the Police at 295-0011.
