The Premier and his wife will be hosting the annual Seniors Tea at Camden this Sunday from 3 to 4.30 p.m.

Premier Alex Scott and his wife Olga yesterday said it was important for Bermuda to value and honour seniors in the community.

?They are unique, invaluable and continue to play a critical role in the development of our Island home,? Mr. Scott said.

He added he is hopeful that this year more than 1,000 seniors will attend the annual event.

Bermuda Regiment Band will provide music for the event, he added, while Ruth Thomas and company will take seniors on a journey down memory lane.

Mrs. Scott said the event would not be as successful as it has been in the past were not for the volunteers who help to bring it to fruition.

She thanked them for their contribution.
