Racing Community Bids Farewell to Toriano

Bermuda's motorcyle racing community said farewell to young champion Toriano Wilson on Tuesday at Southside Racetrack. And it was not only family and friends of the 14-year-old who came out to pay their respects but also former world champion Kevin Schwantz who said Toriano (nicknamed the Animal was a world champion in the making. The 14-year-old was killed in a freak crash on Sunday, August 17, during a Red Bull Rookies Cup event in Virginia. He was buried at St. Peter's Church Cemetery, St. George's. One of Toriano's brothers Khyren (foreground) had his hair styled with the number 26 which was Toriano's bike number. Khyren is seen with fellow brothers Cleve (left) and Keanu (middle).
