Seniors who were inadvertently left out of a hospital insurance scheme which subsidises hospital treatment abroad were given their due yesterday after Senators approved changes to the Hospital Insurance Act to remedy the situation.

The correction affects seniors over 75, is retroactive and should cost Government $50,000 per year.
