Stabbing, accident victims, in stable condition

A man involved in a serious road accident on Sunday has now been moved out of intensive care and onto a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The 28-year-old Hamilton Parish man was said to be in a satisfactory condition last night.

According to Police, he lost control of his cycle as he was travelling east along North Shore Road in Hamilton. He was flung into the path of an oncoming car after he hit the kerb.

Witnesses to the accident should call P.c. Evelyn on 295-0011.

And a 23-year-old Pembroke man who was stabbed at the Spinning Wheel night club on Sunday night was said to be stable in the Intensive Care Unit last night.

He is said to have been knifed just after 11 p.m. in the Court Street club during a disturbance between three men.
