Sudden death: Man named

The Bermuda Police Service has named the the 78-year-old man who collapsed at the temporary bus terminal, and later died, on Thursday.

Allen Russell was discovered in an unresponsive state at the entrance of the terminal on Church Street at 1.40 p.m. on Thursday.

Emergency crews were called to the scene and attempted to resuscitate him before an ambulance rushed him to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 2.10 p.m. by the on call physician at the hospital.

The service conveyed its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Russell.
