Sandys Parish teenager Tarjae Furbert has been fined $600 after pleading guilty to possession of 9.3 grammes of cannabis.

Police were patrolling Sandys executing search warrants on March 26 when they searched a car and found the drug which belonged to Furbert - a 19-year-old construction worker from Malabar Close, Sandys.

Beggar jailed

Beggar Keith Peniston has been jailed again, this time for three months after pleading guilty to trespass and begging.

Peniston was caught sleeping in the General Post Office on August 29 and begging on Front Street on September 8.
